Students will investigate historical and contemporary Black experiences and their representation in spatial and temporal contexts. Through research, critical analysis, and design projects, participants will challenge traditional mapping practices and propose new ways of visualizing and understanding time and space. The course emphasizes collaborative work and interdisciplinary approaches, encouraging students to develop innovative cartographic methods that reflect diverse perspectives and futures.
